We didn’t start with a business plan. We started with a problem.

Kheyleve began in our home when my husband John, a Desert Storm veteran, struggled with stubborn, reactive skin that nothing in the pharmacy aisle seemed to calm. As his wife — and as a retired registered nurse with 30 years of clinical experience — I did what I had always done in hard situations: I looked deeper.

When conventional products failed, I went back to basics. I studied skin barrier function, stripped away the unnecessary extras, and began formulating in our kitchen with simple, time-tested ingredients. That search led me back to one of the most traditional skincare ingredients of all: grass-fed tallow.

John’s skin finally began to respond. And out of that personal need, Kheyleve Naturals was born.

This brand is not a trend for us. It is a calling.

We believe God entrusted us with this work, and we take that responsibility seriously. Every formula is created with intention. Every ingredient has a reason for being there. Every batch is made in small quantities with attention to detail.

I’m Lisa Hood, founder and formulator of Kheyleve Naturals. Before I ever made skincare, I spent 30 years in clinical nursing, including pediatric surgery. I’m a retired registered nurse, as well as being a certified Patient Advocate in holistic care. That background shaped how I formulate. I believe skin should be supported, not stressed. I believe ingredients should be chosen with care, not added for hype. And I believe people deserve to understand what they are putting on their bodies.
